Music Schools Cyprus is a department within the ministry of education, culture, sport, and youth. The office within the ministry consists of one coordinator and ten music school directors.
The department’s tasks are advocacy for music school education, communication and coordination with its members, coordination of partners on a national level, national curricula, development of pedagogical standards, further training for music school teachers and music school directors, organisation of national youth competitions and national youth orchestras.
