“I feel most at home where people make music together. In music schools across Europe, this shared experience creates connections that go far beyond borders.”

Music has always been at the heart of my life—not only as an art form, but as a way to bring people together. In Luxembourg, I have the privilege of working within a music school system that is deeply rooted in accessibility, quality, and community life. I am convinced that this model can inspire beyond our borders, and I see the EMU as the perfect platform to share and develop such ideas across Europe.

My motivation comes from the belief that music education is one of the strongest ways to build a common European identity—while respecting the richness of our diversity. Whether in a rehearsal room, on a concert stage, or in informal encounters, music creates connections that go far beyond language.

Coming from a region shaped by wine culture, I also see parallels between music and wine: both bring people together, invite exchange, and create moments of genuine human connection. This spirit of openness and conviviality is something I value deeply and try to bring into my work within the EMU. As part of the Presidium, I aim to contribute not only through ideas and strategy, but also by fostering a positive, approachable, and collaborative atmosphere among colleagues.

Expertise & Focus

Music School Leadership & Development
As director of a regional music school, I focus on maintaining high pedagogical standards while keeping a strong connection to the local community. My goal is to ensure that music education remains accessible, meaningful, and rooted in real life.

European Collaboration & Exchange
I am committed to strengthening connections between European countries and promoting the Luxembourgish music school system as an example of how accessibility and quality can go hand in hand. Sharing experiences and learning from one another is, in my view, essential for the future of our sector.

Advocacy & National Representation
As president of the Association of Luxembourg Music Schools (AEM), I represent the interests of our schools at national level while connecting them to the broader European context. This role allows me to contribute to a coherent vision, linking local strengths with European ambitions.

Commitment, Discipline & Team Spirit
Through my experience as a high-level table tennis player, I have learned the importance of discipline, consistency, and respect. These values shape my approach to leadership and teamwork, where trust and long-term commitment are key.
